Third Presbyterian Church

Third Presbyterian Church has been a part of the Enos Park Neighborhood since 1890 when the church building was erected at the corner of 7th Street and Bergen. Over nearly 130 years, families from across Springfield’s north side have worshiped and ministered at Third Presbyterian Church.

This relationship with the neighborhood continues as Third Presbyterian partners with the Enos Park Neighborhood Improvement Association in many ways including a monthly Meet & Eat Neighborhood Potluck Dinner, providing space for the annual Halloween Trunk-or-Treat, the EPNIA monthly meetings, the Summer Bike Club, Summer Youth Enrichment, neighborhood Vacation Bible School, and Winter Farmer’s Market. The Northside Children’s Community Library is housed in the church and serves neighborhood students, especially from McClernand School. The COMPASS and Gotta Dance programs are two after school enrichment opportunities serving McClernand students which also operate through the church.

Third Presbyterian looks forward to many more years in the Enos Park Neighborhood and the partnerships to be developed as we minister in the name of Jesus Christ.
