Community Missions Network

Garden Party
Fletcher Farrar addresses guests at garden party held to raise money for NCCL.

The Community Missions Network (CMN) was organized in 2012 as a not-for-profit (501(c)3) corporation to partner with local congregations, neighborhood associations, schools, businesses, and other non-profit agencies to develop and catalyze neighborhood ministry and service opportunities. Rev. Joe and Susan Eby host potluck dinners for CMN at their home every Sunday at 5 p.m.  The group participants come from a variety of faith traditions and live in different neighborhoods, but have chosen to focus on outreach to the Enos Park neighborhood.

CMN has partnered with Third Presbyterian Church in the Enos Park neighborhood to support and promote the Northside Children’s Community Library (NCCL), Meet & Eat neighborhood dinners, the Halloween Trunk-or-Treat, the Enos Park Summer Enrichment program, the neighborhood Vacation Bible School, and Winter Farmer’s Market. Other projects have included hosting an apple themed dinner to raise money to help start a neighborhood apple orchard, and a garden party fundraiser to benefit NCCL.
